Veeder-Root, a leading provider of fueling equipment and services, announced today the availability of the new EMR4 electronic meter register. The EMR4 ensures that the capture and transmission of accurate transaction data related to fuel custody transfers is simple and seamless. The EMR4 can be used with Datalink to automatically communicate data to a back-end system and guarantee all transactions are logged. This reduces loss due to errors in antiquated manual paper ticketing processes where hand written tickets are frequently lost, missing, or transposed incorrectly into systems. The EMR4 also protects your assets from unauthorized access with a proprietary operating system and security settings, and can be set to require authorization prior to delivery or dispense.
Corrosion in sump spaces can be minimized by preventing ethanol fuel or vapors, and water, from entering the sump by following best practices regarding maintaining sump and submersible turbine pump [STP] fittings. In many cases environmental factors make maintaining a dry and vapor free sump difficult. In these situations, Veeder-Root has multiple products to help neutralize the effects of corrosion.
The new Red Jacket CoreDEF Series Submersible Turbine Pump (STP) and the Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF) recirculation software feature for the TLS-450PLUS Automatic Tank Gauge provide a complete solution for DEF dispensing at a retail or commercial site.
Veeder-Root and Gilbarco Veeder-Root, the industry leaders in commercial and industrial fuel and fleet technologies, have an awarded contract, #022217-GVR, with the National Joint Powers Alliance® (NJPA) for “Fleet Management and Related Technology Solutions.”

Yelvington Jet Aviation is a Fixed Base Operator whose fuel trucks and fuel farm were equipped with aging mechanical registers that did not allow for any automation. If there were discrepancies between the amount delivered and the BOL, it was difficult to know where the error came from. By incorporating EMR3 and Datalink into their fueling systems they were able include automation and streamline operations.
As the relative humidity goes up, so does the likelihood of corrosion. This is especially true in-sumps where the added presence of ethanol vapors feeds into a corrosive environment to accelerate equipment deterioration.
Veeder-Root has released the new Red Jacket Red Armor Submersible Turbine Pump to withstand in-sump corrosive environments and avoid the deterioration of pumping equipment.
