Veeder-Root Partnerships with POS, DEF Solutions Offer New Options for Efficient Aviation Fueling

October 31, 2016 SIMSBURY, CT – Veeder-Root, a leading provider of fueling equipment and services, will be demonstrating a suite of aviation fueling solutions at the 2016 National Business Aviation Association (NBAA) Show in Orlando, FL from November 1-3. Veeder-Root provides electronic flow meter registers and has approximately 15,000 aviation fuel truck installations globally with over 3,500 wireless kits. The EMR3 electronic meter register product line has a long proven track record of 14 years in the aviation market and has been selected by several major oil and large fixed-base operator (FBO) chains as their standard solution.

This year at the NBAA Show, Veeder-Root is joined by Florida-based EssintaWINGS, which has partnered with Veeder-Root to automate the ramp to back office fuel reporting system. EssintaWINGS is a FBO point-of-sale (POS) software provider with two decades of experience in aviation management products.

This isn't the first time principals at the two companies have worked together. “Accurate and automated fueling from the ramp to the FBO software system has always been the most critical component in successfully streamlining an FBO's operations,” said John Nelson, founder of EssintaWINGS. “When I previously developed FBO management software, Veeder-Root was a cornerstone of our product offering. Thus, it only made sense to follow the same path again.”

The system is comprised of the Veeder-Root EMR3 and Datalink systems which transmit, in real-time, information to the FBO's EssintaWINGS POS software system. Instantly, discounts and taxes unique to the customer are calculated and available at the front desk or via tablet computer for processing. Ticket data is available for reporting, validation, and inventory reconciliation. The system can handle both general aviation and airline fuelings and is currently in beta testing before its pending release in January 2017.

Veeder-Root has also partnered with Titan Chemical Transfer Solutions to offer a diesel exhaust fluid (DEF) dispensing solution for airports and retail fueling applications alike. Equipped with the EMR3 and Datalink wireless data capture software, Titan has developed a standalone DEF dispenser that is a pre-packaged, pre-certified solution for dispensing DEF at any fueling site.

Veeder-Root, alongside EssintaWINGS and Titan CTS, will be exhibiting at booth #4644 at this year’s NBAA Show.
